Colonie - Marjorie Jacques Rogers, 95, died Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Kingsway Arms Nursing Center in Schenectady. Born in Watervliet, Marjorie had lived on Lockrow Ave. in Colonie for most of her life before moving to the nursing home in 2010. She was employed for 14 years at the New York State Department of Tax & Finance and retired in 1981. Marjorie was a communicant of the former Church of Our Lady of Mercy in Colonie and a member of the Hart Seniors in Colonie. She was predeceased by her parents, Dora Krage and Francis Jacques and her siblings. Marjorie was the wife of the late Thomas J. Rogers; mother of Michael J. Rogers (Judith) of Altamont and the late Marjorie H. Lasher and Thomas F. Rogers; grandmother of Steven Lasher (Tina), Ron Lasher, Susan Zophy (Andy), Amy Mundweiler (Rick), James Rogers (Linda), Shellie Rogers and the late Kellie Rogers. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral 9:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie and at 10:00 o’clock at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the funeral home. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
